Seedling 01-851 (RED SUSPENDERS X RISEN STAR) Tet, Dor, EM, UFO, CRISPATE - Pinching, 33 inches tall, 8 ½ to 9 inch flower as is, 3 branches (1 lateral plus a Y) with a 15 bud count. No fragrance. Pod and pollen fertile. This intro is a lovely polychrome showing pinks, melons and yellow with a green throat. The sepals exhibit a lovely off white ¼ inch edge. The petals have some ruffles to it but the top of the petals where they pinch actually has a golden edge and that edge is tightly ruffled.

When I saw WHIP CITY DAPPER DAN bloom for the first time, I new it was special just like the guy I married, so in Dan’s honor I have named this daylily after him.
